College of St. Joseph's women's volleyball team travels to Pauls Smith's College for a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) game on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 6:30 pm. Paul Smith's College (PSC) is currently 7-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play. After two games in Maine on Sept. 30, the Lady Saints are 4-4 overall and 3-4 in YSCC play.
On Sept. 23, PSC played Great Bay Community College (GBCC) and lost 3-1. CSJ recently faced off against GBCC and fell 3-0 on Sept. 30. Also on Sept. 23, the Bobcats played Central Maine Community College (CMCC) and won 3-0. Julia Ho had nine kills for PSC and seven service aces. Gabriella Beuhler recorded three kills, one assist and eight service aces. Paige Farrington had 14 assists in the win.
CSJ took on CMCC on both Sept. 15 and Sept. 16. The Lady Saints won both games by the score of 3-0. Ryann Agnew led CSJ in kills and service aces. On Sept. 8, the Bobcats matched up against Unity College and won 3-1. CSJ fell 3-0 to the Unity Rams on Sunday, Sept. 30. CSJ will have chances at redemption against both Unity and GBCC on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7.
A win at Paul Smith's would put CSJ back on the winning track and over the .500 mark on the season.
