Women's basketball hosts Word of Life

College of St. Joseph's women's basketball team hosts Word of Life College on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 5pm.

The Saints are coming off two close weekend contests against Green Mountain College and Vermont Technical College. Read a recap of the weekend here.

Junior Daija Black is leading CSJ in scoring this year at 12.8 points per game (PPG). Senior NeKeeya Goodman-Boddie is second on the team with 9.9 PPG. Sophomore center Sabrena Eye is averaging 8.6 PPG while point guard Madison Akins stands at 8.4 PPG currently. Fellow sophomore Rachel Bruneel is averaging 7.8 PPG.

Eye is leading the Saints with 6.5 rebounds per game (RPG). Goodman-Boddie is second in RPG with 6.1,  and Black is pulling down 5.3 RPG currently. Crisalida Chaplin is averaging 5.2 RPG.

CSJ has seen a slump in their shooting, averaging 33 percent from field and 22 percent from the 3-point line. The team averages 9.8 assists per game, however, and puts up 61.7 points per game.
